Welcome Guide Template

A welcome guide is sent to the client once they have been officially onboarded. This document makes the client feel welcomed and special when receiving a personalised guide for their project and creates a great relationship from the start.

What is included?

- A fully customisable, 9-page InDesign template file

- A section to reintroduce yourself as the designer on a more personal level

- A page to outline your brand promise to the client, once again reassuring them that they are in safe hands

- A section to recap their project, including deliverables and an outline of the process and timeline

- A section to outline your key expectations - these should be outlined in your contract, but it is good to reiterate any of the key things such as working hours here.

- A ‘next steps’ section, which guides the client on what they need to complete next and by when

What is it be used for?

This document is a way to welcome your client onboard after confirmation that they’d like to go ahead with the package. It outlines a lot of what you have already discussed but makes the client feel at ease and gives them a document to refer back to if they feel they aren’t sure of the next steps, saving yourself time as it can answer a lot of the questions you usually get through your emails when onboarding clients.

How do I use the template?

After purchase, you will receive a link to download the file (must be downloaded within 24 hours) and then you have complete access to the InDesign file containing the template. Boxes for each section are already created, so that you can simply drop in your imagery and your own content. Fonts are not outlined, meaning you can fully customise the typography to your own brand fonts and change the colours to match your brand colours also.
